Starting the Quest in The Lion King Realm
To begin this story, players must travel to the Dream Castle and spend Dreamlight to unlock The Lion King Realm door. Upon entry, you encounter Nala, who is actively defending her territory against glowing eyes hidden in the dark dried brush. She asks for your assistance in clearing the dried thorn bushes scattered across the area to secure the perimeter.
Equipping your shovel allows you to dig up five dried thorn bushes to collect Thorn Bush Seeds. Planting these seeds in the designated holes along the ledge creates a natural barrier that deters the shadowy threats. Once the area is secure, Nala asks you to find a path through the nearby cave system.
Navigating the Jungle and reuniting the Lions
Progressing through the cave leads players into a lush jungle environment where further exploration is required. You will soon encounter a river blocking your path toward Simba. Lowering the large log near the waterfall requires using your pickaxe on the rock formation beneath it, dropping the log to form a makeshift bridge.
After crossing the log bridge, you finally reunite Simba with Nala. Simba then mentions that Nala needs food after her long ordeal, prompting a quest to gather gourmet jungle ingredients. You will need to dig up stumps and forage near the water to collect colorful bugs for a special meal.
Preparing Bug Platters and Clearing the Hyenas
Using the collected insects, players must head to a cooking station to craft three distinct Bug Platters. Serving these dishes to Nala restores her energy so the group can plan their final defense against the invading hyenas. To scare away the pack permanently, you must consult Scrooge McDuck in the valley to obtain a sound system.
After repairing the sound system with essential crafting materials, bring it back to The Lion King Realm. Placing the device enables Nala and Simba to amplify their roars, successfully driving the hyenas out of the realm for good.
Quest Completion Rewards and Unlocking Nala
With the threat resolved, Nala agrees to move into your village on the condition that her home is prepared. Players must return to Dreamlight Valley to place Pride Rock and pay Scrooge McDuck the construction fee to build it.
Completing this quest officially welcomes Nala to your valley and grants friendship experience points. It also unlocks her subsequent friendship quests and brings you one step closer to inviting Simba to join your community permanently.
